Daisy Haye, our Retirement Living Development in Leek opened on 6 July 2014 and our residents and colleagues recently came together to celebrate its 10th birthday with a jam packed day of fun!

The Leek Town Crier and Lord Mayor attended Daisy Haye and delivered a speech to all residents and colleagues where they spoke about some of the great memories of Daisy Haye over the last ten years.

Our residents got involved in many activities through the day to mark the special occasion...

A tree of remembrance was put in the reception area for anyone to write and hang a message on the tree, it's now filled with many positive memories.

Our colleagues hosted a couple of competitions through the day for everyone to get involved in. First up was Pimp my ride which was an opportunity for residents to dress there mobility scooters and show off their driving skills ... Sheila won with her ride and demonstrated her great driving skills around Daisy Haye.

Next up was the Daisy Haye Pet Mascot 2024, judged by Leek Town Crier. Paula and her dog, Daisie won the title.

The on site bistro team, AJ Bistro provided hot food and drink throughout the day.

From 7pm, the evening entertainment started with a live singer before wrapping up a fantastic day of celebrations for such a special occasion!
