Verve Place in Warrington is one of our four foyers that we operate across the North West.

Our foyers offer a safe place for our young residents aged 16 - 25 to live who are at risk of becoming homeless.

Our colleagues from our Customer Engagement team recently held a feedback session at Verve Place to hear about ways we can improve our repair service for our residents.

From this session, Laura, our Business Improvement & Performance Lead decided to organise an Action Day with colleagues across our Repairs, Planned Works & Investments teams to come together to improve the decor in the building.

Colleagues volunteered to spend their time decorating the communal hallways and even tiling the kitchen walls after a new training kitchen had recently been fitted thanks to the Neighbourly who helped us with the funding.

Residents got involved too and together we managed to paint four communal hallways and tiled the full kitchen.

We're pleased that a day spent freshening up the foyer has meant so much to our residents and they're happy with the outcome.

Esme, a resident at Verve Place said "The scheme looks much better following the action day." Thank you to everyone who got involved!
