We have four foyers which each offer a friendly and non-judgmental place to live for people aged 16-25. Here, we encourage young people to succeed, introduce life skills and encourage them to take responsibility for achieving their goals.
What is a foyer?
Foyers provide secure, supported housing to young people, with accommodation for between 30 and 40 people at each one. Some foyers are independent, and others are owned by housing associations like us. We currently have four foyers in Warrington, Wigan, St Helens and Chester.
What links all foyers is their commitment to the foyer model and Advantaged Thinking. You can find out more at The Foyer Federation.
How can I get a place?
There are different routes to get a place, but to live in one of our foyers, you’ll need to agree to a learning contract in return for your accommodation. We’ll encourage you to achieve your goals, help you learn key life skills and support you into education, training and work.
During your stay, you’ll show that you’re serious about achieving your aspirations by following the scheme’s learning programme or your own agreed learning programme.
The foyers also offer a range of facilities such as a communal lounge, chill-out areas, learning spaces, gardens, and some have a virtual gym or IT suite.
To find out more, contact the foyers directly using the details below.
